ARTISTS REACHING OUT THROUGH ART
The Rio Rancho Art Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of lives through the arts. As an open, regional art association we welcome artists of all levels to join, exhibit their artwork, further their skills, and become a part of an active, vibrant art association. We also welcome art lovers to become involved in the RRAA.
Our outreach committment uses art to aid the community through such things as donations of original art to other non-profits for their fund raising, or member artists helping teach classes or offering talks on art to children and adults. We sponsor events that promote art, and offer our services in design or any of the other other ways that art can assist. You can see what we are doing as well as our criteria here.
RRAA's monthly meetings bring artists and art lovers together for a program of some topic or demonstration related to the world of art. This is open to the public.
Our venues and exhbitions are selected to both aid artist members in promoting their work and to enrich the lives of those who see the art. As an example, one of our must popular and best sales venues is the local hospital.
